ODI Developer
San Diego, CA Temporary $30.00 - $35.00/hr Remote

Job Description

Key Details:

  • 12-month contract
  • Location: Remote (US-based)
  • Pay: $30-35/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end to end technical upgrade of Oracle Data Integrator to the latest supported version
  • Install and configure ODI on new infrastructure and operating system versions
  • Set up and validate new ODI environments (DEV, TEST, PROD and DR)
  • Coordinate closely with Infrastructure, OS, Network, and DBA teams
  • Perform technical migration and remediation of ODI mappings, packages, procedures, and KMs. This is core function for this role.
  • Execute unit testing and resolve upgrade related defects
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Support production deployment, cutover, and post go live stabilization

Mandatory Qualifications (Top Seven Must Haves):

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands on Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development experience
  • Demonstrated experience upgrading or migrating ODI platforms
  • Strong knowledge of ODI repositories, agents, schedulers, and Knowledge Modules (LKM, IKM, CKM)
  • Strong SQL skills and Oracle database integration experience
  • Experience working directly with DBAs and Infrastructure teams
  • Proven experience supporting testing cycles and production deployments
  • Ability to independently own technical upgrade tasks, work in Pacific Time zone and coordinate with on and offshore project team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle ODI Certification (strongly preferred)
  • Experience upgrading end of life Oracle middleware platforms
  • Experience with ODI on newer OS versions and modern infrastructure
  • Exposure to DevOps, automation, or monitoring tools

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Detail oriented with focus on stability and risk mitigation
  • Comfortable working in complex, multi team enterprise environments
